Plain-language privacy

TL;DR. No sign-up. No account. We don't collect anything that identifies you. If you accept cookies, we run minimal Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to see if anyone uses this — nothing else.

What we store on your device

  • purr_result — your quiz result (persona + 5 scores). Used so the result page works after you finish. Lives 30 days.
  • purr_lang — your chosen language. Lives 1 year.
  • purr_consent — your choice on this banner. Lives 1 year.
  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 cookies. Only set if you accept. IP anonymized.

What we don't do

  • We don't store your quiz answers on any server — the math runs in your browser.
  • We don't have accounts or sign-up.
  • We don't sell anything related to your identity.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare Pages — hosting. Standard server logs.
  • Google AdSense — contextual display ads. Loads only after CMP consent.
  • Google CMP (Privacy & messaging) — IAB TCF v2.2 certified consent platform. Shown to EU/UK/Swiss users by Google's geolocation, manages your ad-personalization choice. Outside those regions, Consent Mode v2 defaults apply.
  • Google Analytics 4 — page-level analytics. Synchronized with Consent Mode v2: analytics_storage defaults to denied until you accept in the Google CMP dialog.
  • Google Fonts — fonts served via Google CDN.
  • AdCP signal endpoint — exposes anonymous aggregated signals (cat-owner segments). No PII.
